The Pheasantry, Chelsea, Pizza Express Live, Pizza Express, 152 King's Rd, Chelsea, SW3 4UT, London, Uk
The moon has been inspiring artists, poets, and musicians for millennia. After performing at some of Asia's most well renowned music venues, - Viviana Zarbo (Italian-born but British-adopted) returns to London for a limited time. With this new show at Pheasantry, she wants to celebrate the moon and explore its connection with music and the world at large. This show's setlist includes songs sung in several languages, and the song choices highlight the various ways in which composers have personified the moon throughout time: romantic (Fly Me To The Moon); naughty (What A Little Moonlight Can Do); wicked (Old Devil Moon)or bestowing a fair glow on the skin (Tintarella di luna) and furthermore the moon was the main source of inspiration for Viviana to compose her first original songs ever, which she looks forward to premiering at this special show. She will be accompanied by an amazing jazz quartet. Don't miss it!
